Answer:

9 and 5

Explanation:

Let the two numbers be x and y.

Sum of two numbers is 14,

x + y = 14 ----> equation 1.

Difference between them is 4,

x - y = 4 ----> equation 2.

Add equations 1 & 2,

x + y = 14

x - y = 4

________

2x + 0= 18

2x = 18

x = 18 / 2

x = 9

Substitute x = 9 in equation 1,

x + y = 14

9 + y = 14

y = 14 - 9

y = 5

Therefore,

the two numbers are 9 and 5.
