ya know bakugou is tied down to a poll and his hands and mouth is covered and he is trying to get out... is that because it reminds him of the sludge monster incident and he doesn't feel safe because he almost died of suffocation then so when he had the thing over his mouth (idk what its called) then he got uneasy like he doesn't feel safe... like when the villains kidnapped him they where always behind him so when todoroki was walking in front of him he told him to walk behind him because it made him feel better...

I've seen this before, but you also have to remember that Izuku was also trapped in that same villain earlier that day and only All Might knew. Another thing to remember is that he was s*icide baited earlier that day and then left on a roof by All Might after his dreams were crushed. I think hearing Bakugous explosions somehow told him that Bakugou was in trouble. I think that if it hadn't been for this, Izuku might not have made it past this point. So the public knows that Izuku saved Bakugou, but personally I think Bakugou saved Izuku too.
