parallel to y = 3x – 2 and

Y= 3x-7

Explanation:

Since the line is parallel , the slope is same i.e. 3 .

now the equation should be y= Mx + b where m is the slope and c is the y-intercept

plugging the value of m=3 and ( 3,2) into the equation

2= 3(3) + c

2= 9+ c

c= -7

hence the equation of the line is y=3x-7
