I have a piano test coming soon, and I’m just realized that I don’t know the difference between Major 5th and Perfect 5th. Or Major 6th and Perfect 6th. Please answer as soon as possible. Thank you!

Answer:A perfect fifth is a fifth (ex: C to G) that is not augmented (half step larger) or diminished (half step smaller). For example, from C to G is a fifth. A fifth is seven half steps between the two notes (a half step is the smallest distance between two notes). ... In the C major scale, there is a G natural.
