The coordinates of triangle PQR are P (2, -3), Q (-3, 5), and R (-1, -2). If the points of the triangle are reflected across the x -axis, what are the coordinates of the reflected points?

P’ (-2, -3), Q’ (3, 5), and R’ (1, -2)
P’ , (-2, -3), , Q’ , (3, 5), and , R’ , (1, -2)

P’ (2, 3), Q’ (-3, -5), and R’ (-1, 2)
P’ , (2, 3), , Q’ , (-3, -5), and , R’ , (-1, 2)

P’ (3, 2), Q’ (-5, -3), and R’ (2, -1)
P’ , (3, 2), , Q’ , (-5, -3), and , R’ , (2, -1)

P’ (-3, -2), Q’ (5, 3), and R’ (-2, 1)

Answer:

P ( 2, 3), Q (-3, -5), and R' (-1, 2)

Explanation:

It is this because when ever your trying to reflect anything from the X axis the x values will change, So for these points : (2, -3), Q (-3, 5), and R (-1, -2). the X values will change and the y values will stay the same. That is your answer.
