Answer:

1. The components of a healthy diet are balanced amounts of carbs, protein, fat, fiber, vitamins, minerals and water. To put it more basically, the four main food groups of a healthy diet are fruits and vegetables, meats and proteins, dairy and grains.

2. A few healthy practices to aid your digestive system are eating unprocessed foods, staying hydrated, and following a regular exercise regimen. An example of technology aiding the digestive system are dietary supplements.

3. If you don't eat a healthy diet, you can have indigestion/heartburn and propel the process of tooth decay. (couldn't think of a lot related to the digestive system, sorry)

4. To help keep my digestive system healthy, I will eat the following: two servings of both fruit and vegetables at every meal, choose whole grains(switch out white bread for whole grain, add rice to meals, etc) throughout the day, and 3 servings of whole food protein(poultry, fish, lentils).

5. Eating regular servings of fruit and vegetables lower the risk of digestive problems, lower blood pressure, and has a positive effect upon blood sugar. Eating whole grains instead of refined grains gives more nutrients, for whole grains have not been milled. Similarly, eating whole food protein instead of processed meats allows you to get the protein you need without an excess amount of saturated fat(such as in red meat).
