so the third side will be x-5

hence the first side is=x

the second side =x

and the third side=x-5

the perimeter of triangle is

P= A+B+C

where A B and C represents all the sides

49=x+x+(x-5)

solve for x

49=2x+x-5

49=3x-5

49-5=3x

44=3x

x=44/3

x=14.6

Hence the third side is

=x-5=14.6-5

=9.6

The sides are 14.6, 14.6, 9.6
