bowl. Calculate the probability of two blue marbles drawn when sampling is done with replacement

Answer. The probability of picking a blue marble from the blue urn is 2/6=1/3. The probability of picking a blue marble from the black urn is 11/15. The two events are independent so the probability of a blue marble from each urn is the product of the two separate probabilities=1/3×11/15=11/45.
