I made a fort by connecting two boxes.

The first box is 555 meters long, 999 meters wide, and 999 meters high.
The second box is 333 meters long, 888 meters wide, and 222 meters high.
How many cubic meters of space does my fort have?

Answer:

453m^3

Explanation:

The cubic meters of space does the gorilla have to play in her fort is equal to adds the volume of the first box and the volume of the second box.

The volume of the box is equal to: V = LWH

Find the volume of the first box:

V1 = 5x9x9 = 405m^3

Find the volume of the second box:

V2 = 3x8x2 = 48m^3

Add V1 and V2:

405m^3 + 48m^3 = 453m^3
