Answer:

6583.5 cm³

Explanation:

\boxed{volume \: of \: hemisphere = (2)/(3)\pi {r}^(3) }

\boxed{volume \: of \: cylinder = \pi {r}^(2) h}

Thus, volume of half cylinder= ½πr²h

Since both has a radius of 10.5cm, substitute r= 10.5 into both formulas. The value of h is 24 since it is given that the height of the half cylinder is 24cm.

Volume of composite solid

= (2)/(3)( (22)/(7))(10.5^(3) ) + (1)/(2) ( (22)/(7) )( {10.5}^(2) )(24) \\ = 2425.5 + 4158 \\ = 6583.5 \: cm^(3)
