Answer:

a. 4/13, b. 1/2, c. 3/52, d. 8/13

Explanation:

a.

aces in a deck: 4

face cards in a deck: 12

(4+12)/52 = 16/52 = 4/13

b.

even numbers in a deck: 26

26/52 = 1/2

c.

only 3 face cards that are diamonds

3/52

d.

reds in a deck: 26

face cards in a deck: 12

face cards that are red: 6

(26+12-6)/52 = 32/52 = 8/13
