In your opinion, why are people often disappointed by the movie versions of their favorite books?

It’s because when they read the book, they get to use their imagination. Everyone’s adaptations of a book is different because we all have different minds. When a movie is made, it’s made by someone with their own adaptation of the book, which is different than yours.

In my experience, some things may be changed or taken out in the adapted movie. Sometimes, the movie is just simply horrible. Maybe it's bad acting or effects. It feels insulting and like it has had a glow down.
