if - 2x + 4 = 8, will x be positive or negative? Without solving the equation, explain how you know.​

X will be negative; in order to determine this for future problems move all like variables to the other side of the equation and see what you are left with. If you are left with -2x= some positive value then it must be a negative x to get a positive answer and vise versa.
