Answer:

Bradford’s goal is to provide a history of the plantation and show how they struggled through the trials and tribulations to form a thriving community in the New World. Example: "..which made many afterward write so largely of their plenty here to their friends in England, which were not feigned but true reports. "Bradford attributes the success of the plantation to divine providence. Bradford depicts everything as parts of God’s plan from the Pilgrims’ survival at sea to the Indian Squanto’s arrival and help. Example: "special instrument sent of God", "but it pleased God".
