Follow the steps of BEDMAS:

B = Brackets

E = Exponents

D = Division

M = Multiplication

A = Addition

S = Subtraction

Let's try 1) with these steps.

5 - 6 + 2(3)

We can see there are brackets. When a number is placed near a bracket, it means we need to multiply.

2 x 3 = 6

Let's check our expression.

5 - 6 + 6

We can see that there is addition and subtraction. When we have addition and subtraction together we can solve left to right. The same applies to multiplication and division.

So let's solve the rest of it.

5 - 6 = -1

-1 + 6 = 5

5 is the answer to 1).

Now I hope you can solve the rest accordingly with my help. If you are in a time constraint or genuinely don't feel like doing math, understandable. In that case, simply use any online scientific calculator :)

Good Luck!!!
