Which are accurate descriptions of the social structure of the Spanish colonies?

Choose all answers that are correct.

Peninsulares were native-born Spaniards who held all the important positions in the colonies.

Milanos were on the lowest rung on the social ladder and were little more than slaves.

Creoles were of Spanish descent but were born in America and therefore seldom held government positions.

Mestizo were of mixed race, Spanish and Indian, and were generally poor, if free.

The native peoples were well paid for their hard work in the fields and mines.

the first one is correct, peninsulares were indeed born spaniards who held important positions and same with milanos being on the lowest rung on the social ladder and were typically slaves, creoles were spanish because they were born in spain, tho mestizo people from usa were generally american or hispanic, and could even be mixed with black, not much spanish and indian and native people generally had to work for their money but still never received a whole bunch. hope this helps!
