Trade with Asia and Middle Eastern peoples also allowed for the exchange of cultural ideas. It also influenced science and art.

Do you think trade has the same impact today? Why or why not?

Yes, I think trade has the same impact. Today, through technological advancements there has been an increase in sharing cultures. For example, trading different items throughout the world allows the importers and exporters to take a glance at the different cultures and perhaps learn different things from them.

Answer:

It does.

Step-by-step explanation:

The Silk Road was a vast trade network connecting Eurasia and North Africa via land and sea routes.

The Silk Road earned its name from Chinese silk, a highly valued commodity that merchants transported along these trade networks.

Advances in technology and increased political stability caused an increase in trade. The opening of more trade routes caused travelers to exchange many things: animals, spices, ideas, and diseases.
