Answer:

x = -3/10

Explanation:

Given :

(2x-3)/(4) = 3x

============================================================

Multiply both sides with 4 :

4 * (2x-3)/(4) = 4 * 3x

⇒ 2x - 3 = 12x

============================================================

Subtract 2x from both sides :

⇒ 2x - 3 - 2x = 12x - 2x

⇒ -3 = 10x

x = -3/10

~~~~~~(2x-3)/(4) = 3x\\\\\implies 2x-3 = (3x)(4)\\\\\implies 2x -3 = 12x \\\\\implies 12x -2x = -3\\\\\implies 10x = -3\\\\\implies x = -(3)/(10)
