For a moving object, the force acting on the object varies directly with the object's acceleration. When a force of 8 N acts on a certain object, the acceleration of

the object is 2 m/s^2. If the acceleration of the object becomes 3 m/s^2,what is the force?

The Force equals to Mass times acceleration.

Thus, we now know that the mass of the object is 4 (unit of mass). Hence 8/2=4.

So, 3 times 2 equals to 6 N.

Am I correct?
