The set up will form of right angled triangle with;

the length of the wires (the hypotenuse) = 4m

The base of the tree from the wire (adjacent) = 1.5m

The height of the tree(opposite ) = x

According to pythagoras theorem;

hyp² = opp²+adj²

4² = x²+1.5²

16 = x²+2.25

x² = 16 - 2.25

x² = 13.75

x = √13.75

x = 3.708

Hence the tree is 3.7m high (to the nearest tenth)
