Initial velocity (u) = 10.8 m/s

Final velocity (v) = 3.7 m/s

Acceleration (a) = -2.67 m/s²

By using equation of motion, we get:

\bf \longrightarrow v = u + at \\ \\ \rm \longrightarrow 3.7 = 10.8 + ( - 2.67)t \\ \\ \rm \longrightarrow 10.8 - 2.67t = 3.7 \\ \\ \rm \longrightarrow (10.8 - 10.8) - 2.67t = 3.7 - 10.8 \\ \\ \rm \longrightarrow - 2.67t = - 7.1 \\ \\ \rm \longrightarrow ( - 2.67)/( - 2.67) t = ( - 7.1)/( - 2.67) \\ \\ \rm \longrightarrow t = 2.6 \: s

\therefore Time taken (t) = 2.6 s
