Ansh has a 9m 4 cm rope with him. He cut it into two parts .If the length of one part is 6 m 80 cm , what is the length of other part ?​

Length of other part = length of the rope- length of the first part
= 9m 4cm -6 m 80cm
= 8m 104 cm - 6 m 80 cm
= 2 m 24 cm

Since we're dealing with two units of measurement, we will have to subtract both units individually.

9 - 6 = 3m

4 - 80 = -76.

Also note that in one m, there is 100 cm.

So, we are going to take one 100 and subtract it by 76.
