Explanation:

GIVENS:

A = (-2,-5)

B = (1,-3)

C = (2,-5)

A' = (-2,5)

B' = (1,3)

C' = (2,5)

We can see analytically (through the points) and by inspection that the triangles seem to be reflected in the x-axis.

INSPECTION

The plot shows us this because any point we pick from one triangle we can see the reflected point on the opposite side (like there is a horizontal mirror on the x axis)

ANALYTICALLY

The points show us this because all the pairs (A and A' for ex) share the same x values but have negative y values!. So if we know point A is -2,-5, by taking the negative of the y we can see its reflected point A' which has the value of -2,5.
