Draw the graph with point (0,4)

As x is 0 and y is 4, the point will be on the positive y-axis.

Given : move up 6 units, means 6 is added to y value 4 => y = 4+6 => y=10 { Since, the vertical line represents the y-axis, any movement, that is up or down is calculated by adding or subtracting from

y-axis }

So, now we have point (0,10).

Also given : From here move left 3 units

-3 is added to the x value 0 => x= 0-3 => x=-3 { Since, the horizontal line represents x-axis, any movement towards left or right is calculated by x-axis } And also { As we have negative values of x-axis on the left }

So, we end at (-3,10)
