What is the distance on the number line between 3/4 and 3/2

Hi there!

3/4 is bigger than 3/2 so we would subtract it...

But the thing is the denominator of both fractions is inequivalent. This means that we would multiply 3/2 into a denominator...

(3)/(2)=(6)/(4)

Subtract both terms:

(6)/(4)- (3)/(4)=(3)/(4)

Distance: 3/4
