Dear Mariah.
This week I had the great news that you will continue your studies at my old school. First of all I want you to know that I am very proud of how you are growing, developing and strengthening your knowledge.
However, one of the biggest reasons for my happiness is that I will be able to give you some advice about school, which I believe will make your time in it more profitable.
First of all, I would like to advise you to make an effort in any and all subjects you submit to, all will be important for your academic growth. Avoid friendship with people who do not value your dedication and respect and value all teachers.
Speaking of teachers, I would like to emphasize the importance of standing out in English classes. That's because I know that you want to be a writer in the future and the English teacher, Mrs. Higgins, usually invites students who stand out to a secret, but very influential, reading club that can make you get great internships in the future.
Lastly, I would like to point out that I will always be at your disposal to help you, which means that you can call or write to me at any time and about any questions.
I miss you.
