Answer and Explanation:

Creon saw Polinices (Antigone's brother) as a traitor because of his union with the foreign and enemy powers of the kingdom. In this case, Creonte believed that a traitor to the homeland at the level of Polinices does not deserve to receive funeral celebrations, as his soul does not deserve eternal rest, but the sadness and anguish of wandering eternally. This is totally different from the opinion of Antíogona, who believes that everyone deserves a funeral celebration that sends the soul to eternal rest, especially someone from the family. For her the family is above anything, for Creonte, however, he is above family ties.
