Answer:

1. This means that the actual park size is 50 times larger than the size of the park on the map.

2. If a pathway is 7 inches long on the map, it will be 50 times larger in real life;

= 7 * 50

= 350 inches

3. 1 foot is 12 inches so 350 inches will be;

= 350/12

= 29.2 feet

4. The real life length of the car is;

= 5 * 67

= 335 inches

5. The real life length in feet is;

= 335/12

= 27.9 feet

6. Speed = Distance / time

The time should be converted to hours;

= 10/60 minutes

= 1/6

Speed = 9 / (1/6)

= 54 miles per hour

= 54 mph
