TIME ZONE

In the new action-thriller, Time Zone, art thieves raid a New York museum and take the stolen goods to South America. The story sounds a bit far-fetched, but the superb acting and strong plot make Time Zone the must-see movie of the summer.

Miller on the big screen
Ray Miller adds depth to his character, Todd Cross, the government agent hot on the thieves' trail. He shows us a man who is committed to the case, yet curious about the motivation behind the theft. At times you wonder if Cross is going to crack down on the thieves or join them.

Miller, a regular on television, had to work his way on to the big screen. "l was taking steps to get into film ā€” reading screenplays, talking to my agent ā€” but when I read this plot I knew that I had to play Agent Cross," Miller said. "Agent Cross is trained as a government agent, but he has to work at resisting the temptation to join the other side."

Sizzling special effects
Instead of focusing on special effects, Director Bill Jones takes time to develop the story. It's a risky move for an action film, but it provides the audience with a convincing story.

The effects we do see are amazing. From the car chase in New York City to the avalanche in the Andes, Jones keeps the audience on the edge of their seats. If you are in the mood for a globe-trotting adventure, Time Zone is a great action film to see.
