Ratio A is equivalent to Ratio B. Ratio B is equivalent to Ratio C. Is Ratio A equivalent to Ratio C? Explain.

One ratio is

(17 / 19) * (2 / 2) = 34 / 38

Another ratio is

(17 / 19) * (3 / 3) = 51 / 57

A third ratio is

(17 / 19) * (4 / 4) = 68 / 76

Yes it is. For examples can put in numbers.

Just say ratio A is 1:3 and ratio B is equal to that so just say it’s 3:9. Then ratio C is equal to B so just say it’s 9:27. Well 9:27 is equal to 1:3 or in other words A=C
