in the us senate, each state has 2 senators regardless of its population. does this seem to contradict the 14th amendment as interpreted by the supreme court in baker v. carr

no it doesn’t, in article 2 of the constitution it states that in the senate, there shall be 2 representatives from each state. baker v carr does not effect that statement. only a constitutional amendment can change the function of the senate
