If the coordinates for a graph is ( x, y )

This means that x = 4 and y = 4

M = the slope

B = The Y-intercept which is unknown

You do not have to solve for B when it's asking for the standard form. Only solve for B when it asks for the y-intercept.

The slope is 1/4 so, M = 1/4

Therefore, it is 4 = 1/4 ( 4 ) + b
