Answer:

3 = 2(5) + b

Explanation:

Equation for a slope is y=mx+b.

Y = Y-value on the graph

M = The slope

X = X-value on the graph

B = Y-intercept

If the coordinates are ( x, y )

Then that must mean that x = 5 and y = 3 because the numbers would replace the variables in the same order

The B-value is unknown for now but you are able to find it by solving this algebraically.

3=2(5) + b

3 = 10 + b

-10 = -10 + b

-7 = b

Because the 10 and the -10 would cancel each other. Leaving you with only -10 on the other side.
