  • just use the equation
    slope=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)
  • So our first point (7,-5) will be
    x_1=7,y_1=-5
  • and our second point (10, -7.5) will be
    x_2=10,y_2=-7.5

  • slope=((-7.5)-(-5))/((10)-(7))=(-2.5)/(3)=-(5)/(6)
