Imagine that you are a leader of Sparta who must make a decision about going to war with Athens. What do you think are some of the economic costs of going to war? What would some of the eventual economic benefits be if Sparta won?

Answer:

I think some of the economic cost of going to war is overtime pay for the soldier and the cost of more supplies than usual.'

Some benefits are that when Sparta won, Sparta could ask Athens to pay for the cost and have Athens pay tribute.

Hope this helps!
