Answer:

The sides of the isosceles triangle are 3.2 cm, 6.2 cm and 6.2 cm

Explanation:

The sides of an isosceles triangle are equal in length

Let the base be x cm

Since it is 3 cm smaller than a leg, the legs will be (x + 3) cm

To find the perimeter of a triangle, we add up the sides

x + x + 3 + x + 3 = 15.6

3x + 6 = 15.6

3x = 15.6 - 6

3x = 9.6

x = 9.6/3

x = 3.2 cm

So the base is 3 + 3.2 =6.2 cm
