The Iditarod is a 1,100 mile sled hound race beginning in Anchorage, Alaska and completion in Nome, Alaska. The Iditarod is exceptionally cruel and risky with practically horrendous conditions. This twenty multi year old race is known as the last incredible race. The historical backdrop of the Iditarod has been loaded up with stories of awful climate and incredible fines his. In 1976 Jerry Riley won the race and eased the most minimal tote ever of $7,200. It wound up costing him as a lot to run in the race as he mitigated when he won it.
