If a dog yelled at me I assume it would sound somewhat like a combination of barking and whining. When dogs bark at something or someone, let's say you in this case, they're trying to catch your attention. When a dog whines, it also indicates they want your attention. But their wanting your attention isn't always a positive thing.
This topic is really weird and there isn't much to write for a 10 paragraph essay-thing on this. But in my opinion, if a dog were to legitimately yell at me, I assume it'd sound more like an extremely loud bark or something.
