What is the value of c in the equation 3/4 x + 2= 5/4 x -6

Explanation:

3/4x+2=5/4x-6 start by subtracting 3/4x on both sides

2=2/4x-6 now add 6 to both sides

8=2/4x at this point you can simplify 2/4 to 1/2 just to make it easier to divide

8=1/2x divide 1/2 or 0.5 by 8

x=16
