Explain the difference between static friction and kinetic friction​

Answer:

Static friction seems to be the friction that occurs whenever an item is put on something like a surface. Kinetic friction is caused by an item moving over a surface. Friction is very well described either by the coefficient of friction, which would be calculated as the proportion of frictional force to a normal force.
