Could someone give me some input on why in part B 10 to the power of 3 is included in the equation to obtain the answer 1.47 x 10 to the power of 11

10^3 = 1000. Look at the question carefully. it says the speed is in meters per second while your distance is in kilometers so yeah need to multiply by 1000
