\huge\frak{Answer:-}

(8x - 8) + {100}^(\degree) = {180}^(\degree)

\implies8x - 8 = 180 - 100

\implies8x - 8 = 80

\implies8x = 80 + 8

\implies8x = 88

\implies x = (88)/(8)

\implies x = 11 \: (a)

Why did we used the equation "(8x - 8) + 100° = 180°" to find x?

Because, sum of interior angle in the same side of two parallel lines are always equal to 180°.

Don't forget to give the "°" symbol ;)
