How do i solve this question 2x-14=4(p+5) ? all ik it that i have to distribute first.

x=(4p+34)/2

p=(2x-34)/4

Explanation:

2x-14=4(p+5)

2x-14=4p+20

2x=4p+34

If you are solving for x, it would be:

2x/2=4p+34/2

x=(4p+34)/2

If you are olving for p, it would be:

2x-34=4p

Divide 4 from both sides:

(2x-34)/4=p or p=(2x-34)/4
