What is the meaning of this quote ” We think sometimes that poverty is only being hungry, naked and homeless. The poverty of being unwanted, unloved and uncared for is the greatest poverty.”

Answer:

the greatest punishment is not that of the loss of clothes or money it's the lose of being uncared for and unloved that's the greatest punishment.

Answer:

I think it may mean that not only is being poor and hungry horrible, but also being starved of love and and people who care about you can be just as miserable-probably even worse.

Like imagine if you were a pretty rich guy but everybody hated you and your parents passed away years ago. You'd probably feel pretty miserable.
