If yes here

1. x + 4y = -8

4y=−8

Step 1: Add -4y to both sides.

x+4y+−4y=−8+−4y

x=−4y−8

Answer:

x=−4y−8

2. 5x - 4y = -16

5x−4y=−16

Step 1: Add 4y to both sides.

5x−4y+4y=−16+4y

5x=4y−16

Step 2: Divide both sides by 5.

5x = 4y- 16

5 5

5 x/4 = 5y + -16
