Answer: n = 13

Explanation:

24=3(n-5) - First distribute the 3 to the n and the 5. Which you would than get 3n and -15

24=3n-15 - Now add the 15 to both sides which would cause it to cancel out on the left side of the equal side.

39=3n - Now divide the 3 from 3n on both sides of the equal side.

n=13 - Once you do that you will get n = 13. That is your answer!
