Use the equation m=y2-y1/x2-x1 to find the slope
6-8/0-(-2)
-2/2
M=-1
Plug inyour slope one set of coordinates into y=mx+b. I’ll use the ordered pair (0,6)
6=-1(0)+b
6=b
Equation: y=-x+6

Answer:

slope= -1

y-intercept is 6

Explanation:

slope = y2-y1/ x2-x1

slope = 6-8/ 0-(-2) = -1

y-intercept is 6 because of (0,6), where the points cross y-axis
