Lol i literally just asked for help on a different problem, but this is a word problem and they always confuse me

problem:
My sister has three Maltese puppies. Scout weighs 8 1/3 pounds. Kenadi weighs 3 1/8 pounds, and Major weighs 8 1/5 pounds. What is the order of the puppy’s weights from least to greatest?

Answer:

D) 3 1/8, 8 1/5, 8 1/3

Explanation:

The order of the puppies' weights from least to greatest is the following:

3(1)/(8) , 8(1)/(5), 8(1)/(3)

Three wholes are less than eight wholes, which means that the puppy named Kenadi weighs the least.

Scout and Major weigh a bit more than eight pounds. However, Major weighs less than Scout because one fifth is less than one third.

8(1)/(5) < 8(1)/(3)

This is why the correct option is D.
