What is the mass of 0.0467 mol of the element sodium (Na)

You can also do it this way

The equation to find
moles(n) = m(g)/M(g.mol^-1)

Therefore if you rearrange the equation to find the mass(g) you can solve.

m = nM
m = (0.0467mol) * (22.99g.mol^-1)
m = 1.0736g

SOLVED!!

n = moles
m = grams
Molar mass = g.mol^-1 = grams per moles

*= multiplying
