Why is the Constitution important? What are some of the major principles that we included when we wrote our Constitution? In what ways do we see these Constitutional principles in our government and/or society today? The constitution is important because it show the rights of citizens and it shows some laws that stop the gobernment from becoming too powerful (1:limited government)and it allowed people to vote on the leader of the government (2:popular sovereignty) the constitution also has the 7 articles in which they explain the three branches of government (3:separation of powers)and how each branch can limit other branches (4:checks and balances)
